Welcome to Adhesion

Society Of India

The science and technology of Adhesion is one of the most important subjects in the world of structural and functional systems with varied applications. The numerous methods of adhesion and the wide spectrum of adhesives, adhesion promoters industrially used speaks volume of the importance of this subject. Despite the large-scale use of various adhesives, and technologies of bonding materials, the scientific exploration of adhesion has not been holistically undertaken in our country. In fact, there is no organized forum, structured interaction, scientific programme for advancement in adhesion science and technology, nor any collective effort for innovative solutions for many unanswered questions related to adhesion in very critical areas of applications.

About us

The objectives of the newly formed Society are briefly described here:

Education, Research and Training

The Society will concentrate on education, research, training, and training with a focus on science and technology in India. Activities will include developing research projects, creating training modules, organizing workshops, and providing solutions tailored to advancements in adhesion science.

The Society aims to nurture and foster international research collaborations between Indian scientists and global organizations and universities.

Initiating scholarships and awards to support students, researchers, and professionals in adhesion science.

Helping students attend relevant meetings, conferences, seminars, and workshops by providing travel grants, accommodation support, and registration fee waivers.

Developing databases, maps, web pages, and other online instruments that promote the objectives of Society. This includes creating and maintaining digital resources that provide valuable information and tools for researchers, students, and industry professionals.
